Motor Vehicle Accidents
Our firm has extensive experience handling motor vehicle crash cases. Our firm concentrates on motor vehicle collision claims for persons who have suffered serious injuries such as broken bones, injuries requiring surgical intervention, closed-head injuries, injuries resulting in permanent disfigurement or disability and injuries resulting in death.
Defective Products
Our firm is on the cutting edge of litigation in this area. We review and handle claims involving crashworthiness of motor vehicles (including roof crush and air bag claims, i.e. failure to deploy, failure to deploy in a timely fashion), negligent design and construction, equipment rollovers including farm tractors, vehicles and commercial vehicles, lack of safety devices and/or restraints, machinery injuries including guarding failures or negligent and defective designs. We also evaluate claims involving electrocutions, fires, explosions and aviation claims. If you or a loved one were injured or killed because of a defective product, or if you even suspect that it might be linked to the injury or death, we would be happy to discuss the matter with you.
Wrongful Death
Alabama's wrongful death statute provides that a jury shall award a sum of punitive damages against a defendant who has caused a wrongful death in an amount sufficient to deter future similar conduct that would result in the death of others (paraphrased). Wrongful death cases most commonly come in the form of automobile crashes and defective products. However, there have been numerous other types of these cases including electrocutions, on the job accidents, aircraft crashes, criminal acts and many others. Our firm is well able to handle cases of this magnitude and willing to help the survivors of tragedy to cope with their loss while justice is pursued on their behalf.
